INSTRUCTORS

Introducing our teachers, who all teach intuitive physical (asana) yoga classes, as well as provide paths for students to learn new ways to open energy (qi) in the body ultimately inviting inner peace, intuition, clarity, improved memory and physical/emotional healing.

The energetic body is on our side, we just need to pause, listen and learn its language.  This team has diverse backgrounds and certifications in the Energetic Sciences which are blended into the yoga practice, allowing you to investigate your own self-healing methodologies.

AJ Bowron

AJ discovered yoga while attending nursing school. Yoga was important for him during this time because it brought balance to his hectic schedule of studying and work. After graduating from nursing school life became less stressful and yoga slowly faded away. However a co-worker brought AJ back to yoga and it was then that he realized its importance his life. The changes it made in him was something he wanted to share with the  public and is now realizing that dream – to guide you on your yoga journey.

Yoga to AJ is a balance of strength and flexibility, stress and relaxation. He does vinyasa flows that will make you sweat. He also does yin flows that will leave you feeling refreshed and relaxed.      [To contact click here]

Dawn Maxwell

Dawn is a Kinesiology + Healing Touch Therapist & Yoga Teacher.  She began her journey into natural health in 2008 after one of her children spent a year with unexplained illness and failure to thrive. After spending 2 months of visits with a Naturopath,  she started taking Touch For Health and BodyTalk classes in 2014. She is now a Touch For Health Instructor and finds joy in educating others on the benefits of specialized kinesiology as well as other modalities. Her passion is to help her clients discover their healing path, achieve goals and bring hope and joy back into their lives. She works with them to find balance in the “whole” person, emotionally, mentally, physically and spiritually. Using muscle testing as a method of biofeedback, as well as a strong intuition, she identifies imbalances in the body’s energy system and then activates the body’s own innate healing processes so that the body can better heal itself. A balancing session is designed for her client to feel safe, relaxed, heard and loved, clearing the way to move past physical and emotional blockages.

In 2020, she fulfilled a life-long dream and earned her 200 hour YTT and is thrilled to finally be a yoga instructor. [To contact click here]
